Here we are going to give you five easy ways to instantly quickly upgrade your style. I’m going to try to summarize five very easy things you can do to upgrade your style and look better.
The first tip – ditch the sneaker and pick up a leather shoe.
If you’re a sneaker head and your whole closet consists of just sneakers, I personally think your style is lanky. I have nothing against sneakers. I own a lot of sneakers. I love sneakers but there comes a time where you’re going to need a dressier alternative and this automatically gives you more style. Whatever it is, just make sure you have at least one dressier shoe whether it be a chuck of boot or a loafer, something that’s made out of leather. Make sure your whole closet doesn’t just consist of sneaker.
Second one – a watch.
A man is stylish when I see him with a really nice timepiece on his wrist. I think if you’re going to upgrade your style, you need a watch. If you’re looking for something stylish, go for something with the minimal design, very lightweight and something that looks good dressed up, it looks good dressed down. Whatever you’re wearing, when people see that on your wrist, they will automatically think that you’re stylish guy right there.
Number three – the right belt.
I have kept this kind of belt for the longest now and it’s kind of sad to look at it that has been through thick and thin. I wore that belt to the ground basically. It wasn’t until I decided I needed better belts that I saw the impact of having a nicer belt because keep in mind, this is what cuts your body in half. This is when people are looking at you, that’s a focal point. So you want something beautiful, something nice. It doesn’t mean you have to spend a lot. Find yourself a nice looking belt, something sleek, something that’s not all beat up and it will just quickly improve your style. Keep in mind – belt is a focal point. So invest in something nice that’s going to enhance your outfit and not deter from it.
Tip number four owning at least one well-tailored suit.
Owning at least one really good tailored suit is essential for every guy even if you’re still in college. Well I own a lot of suits because I like them but even if you’re in college, at least one. You’re going to need it whether you might have a presentation, whether it’s career fair, whether you have an internship, you have an interview, you have a funeral, you have a wedding – you’re going to need at least one really good tailored suit no matter where you are in life. You’re going to need at least one. I personally recommend going with either a gray or a navy suit. These are going to be the most versatile. They’re going to give you the most bang for your buck, the most formal and also going to make you look the best. But having one suit in your wardrobe makes you ten times a hundred times more stylish than all the rest of your peers that probably don’t even own one suit.
The fifth style move you can do to automatically look more stylish is going from jeans to chinos.
This is the same as my first one of going from sneakers to loafers. I by no means mean you stop wearing. What I mean is you maybe stop wearing them less and implement a dress your alternative. Something that is going to make you look more stylish and that’s where chinos come in. I wear chinos a lot and I think chinos are just as versatile as jeans. I also think they’re more comfortable and they’re more breathable especially during the summer so there’s really no excuse for not to wear a Chino. You still get the casualness of it. If you want you can throw them on with a t-shirt, some sneakers and you look great but you also look ten times dressier, ten times more stylish with a really nice well fitted pair of chinos.
